Warren Enyart’s extensive background in energy, as both an employee and consultant, including serving as environmental manager for a multi-state generation and transmission utility, and founding member and secretary of M-Power, LLC, North Dakota’s largest community-owned wind energy development project, which was formed in 2006 by the Griggs-Steele Empowerment Zone (GSEZ) and the Griggs/Steele Wind Development Group, LLC. He has overseen the sighting and environmental regulatory compliance of several large coal-fired generation plants, over 3000 miles of high voltage transmission lines, and two large-scale wind farms.
He has also held positions as an advisor for High Plains Consortium, Inc., and Ponds Rx Us, Inc.; vice president of Dakota Aero Manufacturers, LLC, CEO of Renewable Resources Research Institute; center director for North Dakota Manufacturing Technology Partnership, CEO of Technology Transfer, Inc.; President of Midwest Management Information Services, and President and CEO of Midwest Environmental Services.
Administrative experience includes serving as CEO of the Griggs-Steele Empowerment Zone, Inc., deputy director of science and technology and business expansion specialist for the ND Department of Economic Development and Finance; administrator of the North Dakota Office of Volunteer Services, Stanton City Auditor, and Mayor of Lincoln, ND.
In addition to his project management and administration skills, Mr. Enyart is an experienced and practicing scientist. He has researched more than 100 years of literature, published eight comprehensive reports on the biological, chemical and physical processes operating in facultative wastewater treatment ponds. He designed and conducted experiments to evaluate mechanical treatment apparatuses. He was also a major contributor of an Environmental Report to the US Army Corps of Engineers for a major housing development in Mandan, N.D., that involved redirecting waters from the Missouri River in an environmentally sound manner. This work has enabled a number of riverfront developments to proceed in the Bismarck-Mandan area.

Warren has a B.S. in physics, math and secondary education from Minot State University and a M.S.W. with an emphasis in community development and public administration from the University of Minnesota, Duluth.
